Zum Burggräfler.
Towards new horizons.

The guesthouse Zum Burggräfler in Schenna draws inspiration from the colours, forms and materials of its 1970s and 80s history. They guide the renovation of the house, bringing the old and the new together. A house shaped by harmonious contrasts.

Dark wood against cream-coloured surfaces. A façade defined by depth and rhythm. Delicate railings set behind suspended round arches. Planters follow the curves, with greenery spilling over the edges. The contours soften, and the house blends into the garden. Deep red, creamy white and striped fabrics connect the interior with the exterior. Beneath the roof, the curve becomes a terrace, cantilevering beyond the façade. Relaxing in the hot tub, enjoying the sauna, gazing over the Merano basin. The view stretches far, bringing the landscape close.

Inside, each room category has its own colour palette. Bold combinations create distinct atmospheres.

In the bathrooms, tiles, wall colours and terrazzo-style finishes blend together into monochrome spaces. Faucets and ceramic fixtures carry on the familiar forms of past decades. Glass blocks connect while creating a sense of separation. Reflections dance across surfaces. Textile wall hangings echo the colors and curves, creating a soft contrast with hard surfaces.
